Can I Chrome Cast From Nfl App

NFL is back with another season (2020). Comprising of 32 teams, the tournament will be played for 17 weeks. With the NFL app available on Android and iOS devices, you can catch all the actions at any time. The added advantage of the NFL Mobile app is that you can cast the NFL contents to Chromecast connected TV or the TVs that have built-in Chromecast support. To stream all the NFL live games, you need to sign up for a premium subscription called NFL Game Pass. The service is available in two forms:

Pro – $124.99/year
Essential – $37.99/year

You can also use NFL Game Pass as a free version. But, you can't stream the entire season with it. If you're a new user to NFL, visit the signup link on your browser and purchase an NFL Game pass for your account. Let's have a look at the possible ways to watch NFL on Chromecast.

Chromecast NFL Game Pass using Android or iOS

Step 1: Connect your Android/iPhone and Chromecast to the same Wi-Fi network.

Step 2: Launch the NFL app and hit the cast icon that you can locate at the top right corner.

Note – If you haven't signed in, hit the Sign In menu and enter your credentials.

Step 3: Select your Chromecast device or the TV that has built-in Chromecast support.

Step 4: Now, select and play the NFL match that you want to watch on bigger screens.

Step 5: Within a fraction of seconds, the media will cast on the TV.

Step 6: To disconnect, click the Cast icon and select Stop Casting.

NOTE – Instead of NFL app, you can also use the dedicated NFL Game Pass app for casting. The procedure remains the same for both app.

Chromecast NFL using Chrome Browser on Windows and Mac

Like the previous method, your casting device (Windows or Mac) and Chromecast must be on same network for casting.

Step 1: Launch Chrome browser on your Windows or Mac device. You can't use other browsers for casting.

Step 2: Visit nflgamepass.com and sign in to your account.

Step 3: Right-click anywhere on the screen and tap the Cast menu.

Step 4: Select your Chromecast device.

Step 5: With your device screen mirrored on the TV, select and play a match that you want.

These are the two methods that you can use for casting NFL contents to Chromecast connected TV. Instead of NFL Game Pass, you can also use other popular streaming services like Sling TV, YouTube TV, fuboTV, CBS All Access, AT&T TV Now, and Hulu + Live TV to watch NFL 2020. Notably, these services or apps also have built-in support to cast the games.
